Macalloy in Barclays alliance
Dinnington manufacturer Macalloy has teamed up with Barclays Corporate as it looks to increase its exports. Macalloy last year received the Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
Formed in 1948, Macalloy makes threaded bar systems and said the banking deal would play an "integral" part in its plans for future growth. Barclays' "online global trading portal" would help the company take advantage of overseas' opportunities, Macalloy managing director Peter Hoy added.
Currently more than 90 per cent of Macalloy's products are exported.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to support this forward thinking and ambitious Dinnington-based business bring their aspirations to fruition," said Barclays relationship director Alastair Watson.
