Massarella targets growth after bank deal
Massarella Catering Group has agreed additional sales finance facilities with Barclays Corporate.
The South Yorkshire company, which provides catering services within shopping centres, department stores, garden centres and retail and leisure outlets, is now solely banked by Barclays Corporate.
"Barclays Corporate has been very supportive of our requirements and plays an integral part in our plans for future growth," said managing director Mark Massarella.
"With the new banking relationship in place, we are now able to focus on further growth plans. The newly arranged sales finance will be a massive boost for taking advantage of the opportunities the current climate presents and the group continues to expand at pace."
The company, which recently suffered a setback with the demise of T J Hughes, has increased business elsewhere and said it has over 150 sites serving 22 million people each year. As well as sites in shopping centres the group is building concession operations for stores like House of Fraser and Wilkinsons.
