Nominations deadline nears for Made in Sheffield Awards
Just over two weeks remain to get your entries in for the Made in Sheffield Awards, which celebrate the best in manufacturing from the Sheffield city region.
Among the six awards up for grabs are categories for innovation within business, entrepreneurship and the region's most talented apprentice. The closing date for entries is 17 February.
Entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts and the winners will be revealed at a gala dinner in the city's Cutlers Hall on 22 March.
The full list of Made in Sheffield Awards categories is: Innovation, Exporter of the Year, Investment in People, Entrepreneur and Apprentice of the Year.
There is also an overall Made in Sheffield Award for the company or individual, as deemed by the judges, to have contributed most to maintaining the national and international renown of the Made in Sheffield brand for high quality craftsmanship.
The awards are open to manufacturing companies and organisations with an operational office in an 'S' postcode.
The awards sponsors are Barber Harrison & Platt, Barclays Corporate, Brewster McBride, DLA Piper, Sheffield Hallam University and The P&A Partnership. Gallagher Heath is the drinks reception sponsor.
The event is organised by Insider on behalf of the Made in Sheffield committee.
