ATB Morley triumphs at ABDN awards
Leeds-based ATB Morley has been crowned Business of the Year 2011 at the 13th annual ABDN Business Awards.
Originally known as the Asian Business Development network, the organisation has expanded and re-branded as ABDN - The Network of Influence.
ATB Morley was described as market leaders in its field for evaluating, developing and delivering innovative solutions to their consumers.
Property entrepreneur Avtar Singh Thethi, whose portfolio is worth more than £25m, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to economic regeneration in the private sector as well as the time and funds he had committed to local charities.
The winners were: Cleveland Biotech (SME Business of the Year); Brandon Medical Company (Innovation in Business); Dave Helm of Blue Logic Computer Systems (Young Entrepreneur of the Year); Olga Kubassova of Image Analysis (Female Entrepreneur of the Year); Thermal Engineering Contracts (Most Promising New Business); Hanif Malik of Hamara HLC (Service to the Community); Ashpal Bhogal (Rising Sports Star of the Year).
