Westcourt snaps up Harrogate property
Yorkshire property company Westcourt Group has purchased 12 Princes Street in Harrogate. The property is let to Skipton Building Society on a 15-year lease and represented a net initial yield of 5 per cent.
Westcourt said it is seeking similar investments in the coming months and director Tim Hodgson described this deal as a “strategic purchase, which complemented our existing property portfolio”.
Lyndsay Burns of Harvey Burns & Co, who advised Westcourt, said: “This will make a fantastic addition to the Westcourt portfolio. The deal ticks all the boxes of a good location being in the heart of one of Yorkshire's premier towns, a quality covenant and the opportunity for rental and capital growth. We are delighted to have successfully completed this transaction and believe the property will perform well in the portfolio."
