Finance Wales chooses lawyers
Finance Wales, the Welsh Government's company investment arm, has appointed six law firms to advise on its corporate and investment operations.
The firms are DAC Beachcroft, Eversheds, Geldards, Hill Dickinson, Hugh James and Morgan Cole. They will provide advice up to January 2015.
Alan Pratt, a partner at DAC Beachcroft, which has an office in Newport, said: “Finance Wales sits at the interface between two key markets for DAC Beachcroft - the UK public sector and fund and investment management – and the firm is privileged to have been involved in some of its most significant commercial activity over the last three years.”
Paul Pugh, a partner at Eversheds, said: "Finance Wales has proved to be a national asset which continues to grow and will benefit many SMEs (small and medium enterprises) and the economy; it is an essential part of the financial recovery."
The new arrangements replace all other arrangements for legal services for Finance Wales.
