Taylor to leave Wales Millennium Centre
Mark Taylor, the chief executive of Cardiff’s Wales Millennium Centre, has resigned after 17 months in the job.
The centre said Taylor had chosen to leave the arts venue "in order to pursue opportunities available to him in the international business event and leisure sector, capitalising on Mark's significant experience in these areas".
Taylor said: "After a lot of discussion, we have decided as a family to make this move and to also return to our home and friends. In addition this gives my wife Fiona the opportunity to return to her career in the media industry."
Taylor joined the centre in September 2010, in place of Judith Isherwood, who was in the top role for six years. He was previously commercial and venues director at the Barbican Centre in London.
