Harrisons appoints inaugural MD
Business recovery and insolvency firm Harrisons, which has an office in Bristol, has appointed a new managing director.
Paul Walker has been promoted to the new role having previously been a director of the company. He takes on the managing director title with immediate effect.
Walker set up his own practice in 1986 before joining Harrisons in 2003.
After the firm acquired Hereford-based practice, E Mary Grove & Co, Walker's responsibilities were broadened to include leading Harrisons' Hereford office as well as subsequent operations in Worcester.
Harrisons now operates eight UK offices in Reading, Bristol, Derby, Worcester, Hereford, Swansea, London and Manchester.
"This is an exciting time for Harrisons with many new projects currently underway as well as a number of others currently under consideration," said Walker. "I look forward to the challenge and to delivering our main objective of making Harrisons the most efficient, respected and successful insolvency practice in the country."
