The freehold interest in 45/45a Union Street, Torquay, has been sold to Palace Investments for £900,000.
Invista Real Estate Investment Management sold the site on the edge of the pedestrianised Union Street in a deal advised by the Bristol office of commercial property agency Hartnell Taylor Cook.
The building is currently let to DSG Retail and nearby retailers include Primark, H & M, Thorntons, H Samuel and River Island.
DSG Retail occupies the premises on two leases expiring March 2014. The store, which includes a ground floor sales area of 2,575 sq ft, also benefits from ancillary accommodation on the ground and first floors.
Office accommodation is located on the second and third floor, which have been sublet to Manpower.
The freehold is subject to two leases let to DSG Retail until March 2014.
