Cardwave joins forces with China firm
Technology services company Cardwave, based in Devizes, has formed a joint venture partnership with manufacturer RunCore.
Shanghai, China-headquartered RunCore specialises in creating Solid State Drives (SSDs) for high-end markets.
Paul Norbury, chief executive of Wiltshire's Cardwave, said the alliance was "a major step forward for both companies".
The deal will establish RunCore as Cardwave's preferred manufacturer of performance-driven SSDs, while helping the Chinese company become established in the European market.
"Cardwave and Runcore both share the same goal, which is to operate successful and profitable businesses, and this we will do by building a successful European partnership that will benefit both companies," said Norbury.
"We are very excited with the growth potential for SSD’s and delighted to have developed this exciting partnership with RunCore."
RunCore has its UK headquarters in Brighton and also operates sites in California, US and Korea.
