Lucy Bristow launches executive division
Recruitment company Lucy Bristow Appointments has launched a new division focusing on senior and executive level jobs across the South West.
Lucy Bristow, founder and managing director of the Bristol-based company, has established the Digby Bristow arm, named after her father who recently died following a battle against Parkinson's disease.
The new division currently has more than 500 clients, mainly in the South West, ranging from small businesses to large corporates and works across sectors including financial and professional services, manufacturing and construction.
"Like many other sectors the recruitment industry has been having a difficult time of it. However we've been having some success in growing our senior and executive level practice and further developing relationships with clients some of whom have been with us for over 20 years. I'm excited to say we've decided to bite the bullet and to create a dedicated division," said Lucy.
"My father was such an inspiration and support to me and played a huge role in the growth of the business so it was an obvious choice to set up the division in his memory."
Bristow, who established the business 23 years ago, is also set to appear in ITV's Business Club series, focussing on how businesses across the UK plan to survive and thrive in 2012.
