Loungers completes fifth opening of 2010

Bristol-headquartered restaurant chain Loungers has opened an outlet in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

The opening of Pinto Lounge is the fifth opening for Loungers in 2010, and its first foray into Oxfordshire. It is an 80-seater café on Banbury's high street.

Earlier this year the chain opened a café-restaurant at Royal William Yard in Plymouth which has traded well ahead of expectation ever since.

That success has prompted the business to push ahead with further openings in 2011. So far the company is planning openings in Birmingham, Southampton and Bournemouth, as well as Cosy Club openings in Bath and possibly in Exeter.

Loungers’ portfolio includes five cafes in Bristol, one in Bath and three in Cardiff.
