Bristol Batteries all charged up for new HQ
Battery supplier Bristol Batteries has moved to a new headquarters on Albert Road in Bristol from Newfoundland Road in the city centre.
The new office and warehouse space is twice the size of the old site, allowing it to meet increased demand for its range of batteries for domestic and commercial use.
“This is an exciting milestone for our company and builds on the success we’ve had for almost 40 years in business,” said Jacqualine Bultitude, who founded the business in 1972 with her husband Graham.
“With twice the floor space of our previous branch and increased height, the warehouse will allow us to store four times the amount of stock and better meet demand.”
Bristol Batteries has seen growth of more than eight per cent year-on-year. The company has other branches in Swindon, Exeter, Plymouth and Truro. It has around 5,000 commercial clients.
The company sources batteries from the UK, Europe and across the world for use in a wide range of applications – cars, trucks, caravans, boats, golf caddies, mobility, emergency lighting, standby power, telecom and IT backup.
