NatWest has appointed Tony Brown as the new managing director of retail banking across the North of England.
Brown will assume responsibility for more than 3,000 staff and 380 branches operating in NatWest’s retail and personal banking operations in the North.
He was previously director of strategy and transformation for The Royal Bank of Scotland’s retail division and brings 26 years of banking and financial services experience to the role.
Brown said: "I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead NatWest’s retail banking operations in the North. The bank has a presence in almost 400 different locations across the North and my main goal is to deliver a helpful banking experience for all our customers."
