Nobles set for record turnover

Share | |

Liverpool-based Nobles Construction has said it is on course to achieve record turnover growth after securing new contracts.

The business said it had been boosted by contract wins, particularly in the health and transport sectors.

Nobles has reported that its annual turnover is expected to exceed £17m, compared with £13m over the same period last year - a 30 per cent hike.

The business said contract wins have come in the health and transport sectors while its workforce size has increased from 50 to 62.

Peter Linford, director at Nobles Construction, said: "We are pleased to see turnover continuing to rise, reflecting the strength of our reputation in the industry and our ability to secure key contracts despite incredibly tough market conditions.

"For the past 18 months, we have seen margins being steadily squeezed by aggressive and evermore ambitious tendering tactics by a number of firms, while the cost of materials, plant and labour shows no sign of reducing."
