Weightmans named Law Firm of the Year
Weightmans has been named National/Regional Law Firm of the Year at the 2012 Legal Business Awards.
Weightmans, which is headquartered in Liverpool, received the award at a ceremony in London.
The company received the award based on its four years of growth and mergers with Vizards Wyeth and Mace & Jones, which added 200 staff and an estimated £20m in revenue to the business.
Managing partner Patrick Gaul said: "We are thrilled to be named as National Law Firm of the Year – it is a great acknowledgment of the hard work and dedication shown by every member of staff over the past year and a real testament to the growing strength of the firm."
The company reported that it has advised on deals worth more than £200m since its merger with Mace & Jones.
