First Store agrees Crown Business Park deal

Share | |

Joint venture partners Capital & Centric and Barnfield Construction have pre-sold a 30,000 sq ft industrial warehouse to logistics and storage business First Store.

The property is based on the JV partners' 18-acre Crown Business Park in Rochdale.

The fit out programme will include two floors, totalling 90,000 sq ft being added, the companies said, with construction set to complete in May.

The building at Crown Business Park is part of the JV's first phase of speculative construction. Future speculative phases are planned, it said.

John Hudson, chief executive of Rochdale Development Agency, said: "Crown Business Park is a fantastic addition to Rochdale's portfolio of employment sites along the M62 corridor. It is great to see the confidence of the developer rewarded with the early signing of Crown's first occupier."
