Man City sponsor reports first annual profit
Manchester City's main sponsor Etihad Airlines has reported a net profit of $14m (£8.8m).
This is the first time the company, which is based in the United Arab Emigrates capital of Abu Dhabi, has turned a profit in its eight years of operations.
The company reported a $4.1bn (£2.6bn) revenue, which is up 36 per cent on previous years.
Etihad has recently opened a new base at Manchester Airport and plans on employing more than 300 staff in the city by the end of the year.
The airline last year signed a ten-year sponsorship deal with Manchester City. This included naming rights for the City of Manchester Stadium.
