Warrington warehouse sold to Eddie Stobart
Logistics company Eddie Stobart has bought a 145,000 sq ft warehouse in Appleton, Warrington, for an undisclosed sum.
The deal was completed by CBRE. The company said it is the largest industrial deal of 2012 to date.
Paul Cook, director of industrial agency at CBRE, said: "The demand for high quality distribution buildings in the North West has continued despite the difficult economic market.
"Occupiers are now realising that stock levels for Grade A space in the North West is diminishing quickly and we anticipate that within the next twelve months occupiers may have no alternative but to consider design and build schemes in order to satisfy their requirements."
Businesses including logistics company Kuehne & Nagel and Shearings coachings are based in Appleton.
