MBO at CBG Financial Services
CBG Financial Services has become an independent company following a management buyout.
The Manchester-based company was part of the Giles Group. The deal for an undisclosed sum was led by Steve Rees and Mike Carpenter.
Rees said: "We are delighted to have completed this deal, which ensures the future of CBG Financial Services. It's a very exciting time for everyone involved and we have no doubt that we’ll continue to go from strength-to-strength in the future."
Carpenter said: "CBG Financial Services is a well-established business that has built up a strong reputation over the last 15 years for its high standard of service and extensive expertise. These qualities will continue to underpin the new company, as we look to expand our existing offering and forge into new business sectors."
CBG Financial Services was originally formed in 2004, following the acquisition of Carpenter Rees Jackson Limited by CBG Group. Carpenter Rees Jackson was founded by Steve Rees and Mike Carpenter in 1996.
