North West Fund cash for Channel Intellect
Channel Intellect (CI) has been awarded funding from the North West Fund for Venture Capital through fund manager EV.
The Heswall-based IT consultancy said it will use the undisclosed funding to recruit additional staff and expand the business outside the UK.
CI managing director John Shannon said: "This additional funding will allow us to accelerate our plans to further develop sales in the UK from our base in the North West and, in line with our clients' expectations, to expand into Europe and the USA."
Will Clark, investment director at EV, said: "We have been impressed by the quality of the management team and the quality of the service, reflected in the high level of repeat business. The funding will allow it to scale up the business and pursue growth."
The North West Fund is a £185m evergreen fund providing businesses based in the region with up to £2m of funding through six fund managers.
