Sudlows in Zen contract win
Sudlows has been appointed to design and build a data centre for Zen Internet.
The Manchester-based infrastructure specialist is to build a £4m facility 1,350 sq m (14,531 sq ft) at Zen's Rochdale site.
The company already has a data centre at its head office. The first phase of the new build is due to open in spring 2012.
Andrew Saunders, head of product management and marketing at Sudlows, said: "Zen's headquarters will provide the ideal location for the new data centre and is in response to increased demand for capacity in the North West."
Zen managing director Richard Tang said: "We are committed to the continued growth of the company and have also invested heavily in our network, services and our people to ensure that we lead from the front."
Zen Internet was founded in 1995. It has more than 350 employees and has a turnover of £40m.
