ITS Technologies acquires TMG IT
IT managed services company ITS Technologies has acquired IT outsourcing provider TMG IT.
ITS said that the deal will triple its customer base and provide a "platform for growth", as well as safeguard jobs. Both companies are based in Runcorn.
The deal was advised on by Manchester-based legal firm George Davies.
Chris Ross, partner at George Davies, said: "ITS is a fast moving company with great clients and this acquisition further strengthens it market share."
ITS chief executive John Bookless said: "As we have focused more and more on IT infrastructure performance over the last year it became clear that our customers would benefit from the focus that TMG IT would offer them in terms of a totally managed IT end to end environment."
ITS is a privately owned company with a data centre in Runcorn and offices in Redcar, Cleveland.
