Start-up hopes for Greenhouse growth
A start-up video games developer is the latest business to take space at MediaCity's The Greenhouse development in Salford.
Stompy Blondie Games, established by Fiona Burrows, writes desktop games for the Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. Burrows was previously a freelance software developer.
She said: "I started shopping for offices because working from home can be difficult. The Greenhouse turned out to be the obvious choice.
"Its location at Salford Quays was perfect for me and I fell in-love with the building as soon as I arrived. I'm sure that forging good relationships with the other businesses at MediaCity will be more than fruitful."
Earlier this week, brand design and illustration company Piction Media confirmed it has opened an office in The Greenhouse. The company specialises in 3D visuals, visual treatments, design artistry, interactive design, brand image systems and traditional illustration.
