Skelmersdale-based Construction Partnership UK (CPUK) has continued its run of successes in the healthcare sector with a contract to build a 14-bed extension to a care home in Alderley Edge.

The company will carry out the work at the Brook View Nursing and Residential Centre for Bupa. The £600,000 project follows hot on the heels of CPUK’s £1.3m contract win for a new state-of-the-art community health centre in Rochdale.

Steve Burke, CPUK managing director, said: "We are very pleased to have won this contract with Bupa, which is one of the leading names in healthcare in the UK. It is also pleasing that if follows on from our Rochdale contract win.

"Both these successes again emphasises our skill and expertise in the health sector and our growing reputation among healthcare providers and developers for delivering high quality work on time and to budget."

The Brook View extension will take 28 weeks to complete. The contract brings CPUK's order book in the healthcare sector to almost £7m in the past 18 months.
