CPUK secures Blackpool Sainsbury's deal
Skelmersdale building firm Construction Partnership UK (CPUK) has secured a contract worth £500,000 to build a new Sainsbury’s store in Blackpool.
The development is in partnership with Windmill Investments and marks the second major retail development CPUK has carried out for the Lytham-based developer. Earlier this year it completed work on a £500,000 Tesco store in the Apex Centre, Radcliffe.
Steve Burke, managing director of CPUK, said: “The contract with Windmill Investments underlines our team’s strength in developing long-term business partnerships with clients, which fosters trust and respect on both sides and leads to repeat business.
“We have also gained a strong reputation for delivering projects on time and to budget in a number of key sectors. Our increasing number of retail contracts, as well as more work in the growing care home market, is down to our excellent service and the quality of our delivery.”
CPUK’s retail portfolio also includes work for the supermarket group Lidl and restaurant chain Frankie and Benny’s. It is currently on site at the Trafford Centre in Manchester building one of the first drive-through Starbucks coffee shops in the UK.
