GVA Grimley expands niche division

Property consultancy GVA Grimley has recruited Neil Lovell-Kennedy to its specialist rights of light and party wall division GVA Schatunowski Brooks. He will be based in the firm’s Manchester office and moves from Edmund Kirby in Liverpool.

The move will position GVA Grimley as the only national consultant with a regional offer in this niche market. Lovell-Kennedy has advised on neighbourly matters for more than 25 years.

Ian Absolon, director of GVA Schatunowski Brooks, said: “Neil’s integration into the national rights of light team follows increased activity in the niche market throughout the UK. As such, the new addition will offer the only specialist presence in the north.”

Schatunowski Brooks was incorporated into GVA Grimley’s building division at the start of 2008 to boost the company’s rights of light and party wall offering.
