Greenergy said it chose the site on the Sandy Hill Business Park because it wanted premises which were easily accessible by road and rail and to accommodate some of its staff already located in Tamworth.
Andy Darling from the business added: "Having recently insourced our haulage operations, we were looking for a property to house a new 24/7 control centre to manage our logistics operations within our business.
"It needed to be a statement building that reflected our status in the marketplace and Vantage House ticked all the boxes for quality and location."
Peter J Hicks & Co acted jointly with Jones Lang LaSalle to secure the move.
Sibson Mill Properties, which developed Sandy Hill Business Park, said it was turning its attention to the possibility of starting a sixth speculatively built office scheme at the site or working with an interested occupier on a pre-let.
