Walsall office scheme gets the all clear
Developers have been given the green light to construct a sustainable, 105,000 sq ft office development in Walsall, which could create up to 900 new jobs for the area. Local councillors have given consent for the development of Onyx on the Tempus 10 mixed-use business park overlooking Junction 10 of the M6. Permission has been granted for three separate office buildings - one of 36,000 sq ft and two of 25,000 sq ft - each on 3.5 acres of the site. The project is a joint scheme by Oakham Developments and Abacus Developments, who will now offer the plots up for development into Grade-A accommodation. It is seeking a BREEAM Excellent rating for the buildings.
