GVA teams up with Inenco
Birmingham commercial property consultant GVA Grimley has teamed up with energy consultant Inenco to form the first partnership of its kind to deliver comprehensive specialist carbon reduction commitment advice. The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC) will service larger organisations in non-energy-intensive sectors and has been designed to encourage continued emissions reduction. CRC organisations will purchase carbon allowances, and in turn the allowance costs will be recycled. The performance of an organisation in emissions reduction will determine what proportion of its allowance costs will be returned. Stephen Martin, director at GVA Grimley, said: "We're delighted to form this crucial partnership with Inenco. As the market evolves, and with it the complexities of an increasing volume of compliance procedures, demand for specialist integrated advice is increasing at an unprecedented rate."
