Roundhouse is runner-up in national awards
Derby College's new £48m Roundhouse vocational campus has come runner-up in the top award from construction industry experts. The development, which is an inspirational combination of restoration and contemporary new construction, was declared runner up in the flagship Project of the Year award at the Centre for Constructing the Built Environment Awards held at Lords Cricket Ground in London. The award was received jointly by David Croll, principal at Derby College; Ian Harris, director at Maber architects; and Mike Atkinson, project director for the Roundhouse at construction company Bowmer & Kirkland.
