JS Wright on big London scheme
A Birmingham building-services company has just begun work on a £3m contract in London. Aston-based JS Wright & Co will be on-site at the Greenwich Commercial Centre, Greenwich High Road, installing a raft of mechanical services for 226 affordable apartments and a 158-bedroom Premier Inn until the expected completion date of January 2011. Main contractor Galliard Homes commissioned the company to install a range of services. For the hotel, JS Wright engineers are installing a high-tech, environmentally friendly biomass boiler, above-ground drainage, domestic hot- and cold-water distribution, ventilation systems and dry risers.
