Drivers Jonas numbers down
Property consultants Drivers Jonas have reported a slight dip in gross turnover and a drop of 9 per cent in underlying fee income in the year to the end of May. Gross turnover for 2008/09 was £95.66m, down from £96.34m the previous year. Group profit before tax and members' remuneration and profit shares fell from £30.50m in 2007/08 to £21.18m, after taking account of more than £1.5m of exceptional items. Gary Cardin, head of Drivers Jonas' Birmingham office, said: "The company has been strengthened through both existing and new clients, with planning and development proving particularly successful areas of the business."
