Sheppard Robson gets planning permission for Coventry Academy
Architects Sheppard Robson has secured planning permission for the Sidney Stringer Academy, a 14,788 sq m school in Hillfields, Coventry. The Academy, which will accommodate 1,350 pupils upon completion in 2011, is part of a wider masterplan for the area and is located at the heart of the Swanswell regeneration project. Construction is scheduled to begin this month, with completion of the grounds and sports hall expected in March 2010 and academy buildings expected in summer 2011.
