Catapult and Orbis power up battery manufacturer
Smart-battery manufacturer Accutronics Ltd, based in Staffordshire, has been bought out of administrative receivership, saving 47 jobs in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Catapult Venture Managers and Orbis Partners have backed the acquisition of the business, together with an invoice-discounting facility provided by Fortis Commercial Finance. George Green advised the management at Accutronics and Orbis Partners; Geldards advised Catapult; and Faeger & Benson advised administrative receivers Zolfo Cooper.
