Pitchcare forms strategic alliance with ALS
The e-commerce arm of Wolverhampton's Pitchcare has formed a strategic alliance with Telford's Amenity Land Solutions (ALS) in a deal funded by The Co-operative Bank's Birmingham corporate banking centre. Pitchcare's directors Dave Saltman and former Wolves striker John Richards created the company to provide a free, independent website to pass on information in an educative way. The site enrolls some of the top groundsmen and greenkeepers in the country to pass on their sports turf knowledge. Kam Johal, corporate partner at the Wolverhampton office of law firm FBC Manby Bowdler, advised Pitchcare.com on all the legal aspects of the deal.
