Bees back in business

Share | |
Restructuring and recovery specialists from the Birmingham office of national accountancy and business advisory firm Baker Tilly have announced that Birmingham & Solihull RFC's assets have been sold to a new club backed by a couple of local investors. According to the recovery specialists, Bees will fight to play another day under the name of Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Club. Baker Tilly partner Bob Bailey said: "Bees are back in business, which is tremendous news for the club, including the minis and juniors. All parties have the full backing of the RFU, which has granted a temporary licence for the team to play in November, and gives the new management time to fulfil the RFU's criteria for taking over a failed club."
