Ivygrove secures BemroseBooth premises for £3m

Property developer Ivygrove Developments, based in Derby, has acquired the Nottingham Road premises of security printer BemroseBooth for just under £3m – and announced a £500,000 refurbishment. The eight-acre site, which includes 180,000 sq ft of warehouse and office accommodation, will be turned into a multi-purpose industrial park similar to Ivygrove Development's Riverside Park on Raynesway. The deal was completed by a team lead by commercial property partners Lewis Rose OBE and Beverly Simms from Derby law firm Flint Bishop. Funding was provided by NatWest Business & Commercial Banking. This is Ivygrove Development's second significant investment this year; it acquired the four-acre Sawley Packaging site from Rolls-Royce in September and is developing it into a multi-purpose industrial site.
