The Birmingham offices of commercial property companies CBRE and GVA have advised Deb Group on the £12m sale of its 154,000 sq ft research and production facility in Derbyshire.

Property investor David Samuel Properties will lease Deb Group's global headquarters at Denby Hall Business Park in Derbyshire back to the company on a 30-year lease.

Deb Group is a manufacturer of specialist skin-care products, including Swarfega, and inventor of pump dispensers.

The group will pay an annual rent of £940,000 and will invest the proceeds from the sale back in the business.

"The property was designed to satisfy the long-term operational requirements of Deb," said Nick Woodward, associate director in the capital markets team at the Birmingham office of CBRE.

"The lease terms reflect their ongoing commitment to the location and provide my client with a secure, long-term income stream with in-built rental performance."

Jones Lang LaSalle advised Deb Group on the sale and leaseback.
