Worcester accountants merge
Two Worcester accountancy firms are set to merge next month, with The Richards Sandy Partnership and Howard Painter and Company joining forces.
Partners of both practices have been working in Worcestershire since the mid-1980s.
The businesses, which will merge on 1 March, are to operate from the city's former Old Eye Hospital at the refurbished Thorneloe House in Barbourne Road.
All 21 professionals from both firms will be based there, with the company operating under The Richards Sandy Partnership banner.
"We are delighted that Howard Painter and his team will be joining us at the Richards Sandy Partnership," said Rob Richards, who is also chairman of the Worcestershire Group of Chartered Accountants.
"We have been looking for a likeminded practice to join us to help build up the range of services that we offer and feel that Howard's practice is an ideal match."
Howard Painter, who has been an accountant for 30 years, formed Howard Painter and Co 11 years ago.
He added: "I have known Rob and Nick for many years and feel that their practice philosophy of providing a personal, friendly service coupled with high quality professional and proactive business advice suited my practice style and my clients' needs."
