Wates Living Space lets Lockington Hall
Wates Living Space has let a 2,000 sq ft office in the grounds of Lockington Hall in Derby.
The affordable housing construction company has moved into Garden Court, a single-storey office block, in the walled garden of the hall.
Lockington Hall is owned by a private client of commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), which let the building.
Wates Living Space builds or refurbishes about 30,000 affordable homes annually, and has offices throughout the UK.
Ian Calder, business manager for Wates Living Space in East Midlands, said "We are delighted to have moved into Garden Court. These modern offices provide us with a great base in an ideal location to provide a first-class service for our clients."
The business is part of Wates Group, which was established 114 years ago as an independent family owned company set up by Edward Wates and his three brothers in 1897.
Wates has more than 2,000 employees and 12 offices across the UK.
