Bulwell Riverside opens its doors
The £23m joint service centre in Bulwell has officially opened.
The site houses services from Nottingham City Council, NHS Nottingham City and Nottingham City Homes under one roof.
Bulwell Riverside is thought to be the city's third largest joint service centre and will serve as a single point of access to services including housing, welfare rights, youth and play facilities and GP practices.
Lyn Bacon, chief executive of Nottingham CityCare Partnership, which will be located at Bulwell Riverside, said: "This new facility is great news for Bulwell. Working together in the heart of the community, local services will be able to support improvements in health and wellbeing by jointly offering the best holistic care for local people.
"It's been great being involved in this multimillion-pound project which will give local people easy and convenient local access to a number of services all under one roof."
