3AAA to get 2012 unemployed into work
Training company Aspire Achieve Advance (3AAA), based in Derby, has pledged to create 2,012 jobs for young people over this year.
The company is working with further education institutions and businesses to get more than 2,000 people aged 16 and over into employment.
3AAA’s 2012|2012 commitment was launched at the official opening of the group's newest National IT Partnership (NITP) academy and Accounting Academy Partnership (AAP) in central Milton Keynes, in partnership with Bedford College.
Di McEvoy-Robinson, director of 3aaa, said: "With the government's announcement that the unemployment rate in the 16-24-year-old age group is running at a record high of 22.3 per cent, it's essential that organisations such as ours step up and take responsibility for creating new jobs for young people."
McEvoy-Robinson added that the company would help fill apprenticeship roles and create new jobs for the young people it aims to assist.
"This is also our call to employers across the UK to help us realise our commitment of creating 2012 jobs in 2012 to make a real difference to the lives of young people all over the country," she said.
