Walsall-based HomeServe has appointed Martin Bennett as the group's chief operating officer.
Bennett previously held the role of group chief financial officer at the home emergency repair company.
In his new position, Bennett will have responsibility for the supply of HomeServe's operating model, IT systems, best practice and risk management across all of the company's sites.
He will continue to be a member of the executive committee and board.
Following the new appointment, David Bower, HomeServe's group finance director will become interim chief financial officer while a recruitment process gets underway.
"I am delighted to be taking on the new role of group COO," said Bennett. "HomeServe has a strong business model with an increasingly international footprint and I look forward to helping deliver future growth."
