Miraj Hotel owner in administration
The owner of the Miraj Hotel and Leisure Club in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, has gone into administration.
John Whitfield of Duff & Phelps was appointed administrator of Arinza Star Hotels yesterday (26 January 2012). The business also owns the Mill Hotel located in Croston, Lancashire.
Whitfield said a "comprehensive review" would be undertaken at both hotels. Legacy Hotels and Resorts has been appointed to act as managing agent to carry out the reviews while the company is in administration.
"We will act to ensure that all staff and customers will be kept fully updated at this difficult time as we assess the situation and work together to ensure the best outcome for the business," said Whitfield.
