Trade Appliances site goes under the hammer
The former Trade Appliances industrial site in Nottinghamshire is to go under the hammer with a £1m guide price.
The 65,000 sq ft site is being sold by joint receivers. It features two warehouses with three-storey offices in Huthwaite are being offered for sale with full vacant possession.
Offers of about £900,000 are expected at the auction on 15 February by Nottingham property agency Heb.
Heb partner Matt Hilton said: "The former Trade Appliances site offers a great opportunity to local, or national, companies looking to expand and take advantage of modern premises within a fenced and gated location.
"We are expecting a great deal of interest in the site – and are fully expecting a busy room. Such sites as this are hard to come by at this sort of price – and the lot has attracted a large number of enquiries."
About 65 jobs were lost at Trade Appliances in February 2008 after a major backer pulled the plug on funding and forced the Common Road business into administration.
