Connells moves Birmingham home

Estate agency Connells has signed a ten-year lease for the ground-floor retail suite at Lombard House at the edge of Birmingham's business district.

The estate agent, which has 171 branches in the UK and is part of the Connells Group, has relocated its Birmingham office to Lombard House from its previous home in Digbeth.

Connells branch partner Karen Trace said: "Lombard House provides us with a perfect synergy with the Connells brand, with an outstanding frontage onto one of the busiest arterial routes in Birmingham.

"Accessibility to both the local and national transport networks was obviously a big selling-point for us and the location of this retail unit on Great Charles Street provides us with a perfect position in terms of both profile and footfall."

Commercial property consultant GVA secured the lease on behalf of the Aviva Investors, which owns Lombard House.
