Spyware company in asset sell-off
Leicester-based LMW Electronics has sold its complete product set and intellectual property, along with certain customer contracts, to spyware company Digital Barriers.
Digital Barriers is to pay LNW £450,000 upon completion of the deal.
LNW's products provide video capture and transmission technology to the international law enforcement and military markets. They include ruggedised video cameras, outstations, vehicle and body-worn surveillance gear, controller units and video transmission equipment.
LMW is set to provide certain manufacturing and repair services to Digital Barriers from its existing premises in Leicester following the transfer of the business. LMW is also to continue to provide warranty and repair services to its existing customers on historical product sales.
Digital Barriers said it thought the addition of LMW's product set and technology capabilities were complementary to those it already offered.
