JLT Specialty to open Nottingham office
JLT Specialty (JLTS) is to open a new UK regional office in Nottingham in the spring.
The company provides specialist insurance broking, risk management and claims consulting services.
Warren Downey, managing director of the regional partnership division, said: "Our strategic plan is to extend our UK footprint, offering local service linked with central specialist expertise - a unique combination that provides best-in-class solutions.
"We have identified various regions where geographic expansion will deliver much closer client contact and local market presence. The first of these will be in the East Midlands."
Sally Swann, who has "worked extensively" in the East Midlands corporate broking sector, will lead the team. She will be joined by Steve Exwood.
The company is expected to grow the team, focusing on client relationship, service and new business development.
JLTS regional partnership currently has seven UK office locations and employs about 150 staff.
