Morgan Sindall wins £200m partnership deal
Morgan Sindall, based in Warwickshire, has been recommended as a partner to work on more than £200m of public sector infrastructure projects.
The construction company was advocated by The West Territory Hub Programme Board to work on schemes for 17 West Scotland public sector bodies in Glasgow, Inverclyde, East and West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire.
Morgan Sindall will sit alongside Community Solutions Investment Partners, (itself an associate of Morgan Sindall's investments division) and Apollo Capital Projects, as the majority shareholders in the WellSpring Partnership.
The partnership will work on projects across the West of Scotland territory through a joint venture company formed alongside the various public sector bodies.
The £200m investment programme is to take action over the next ten years and includes a range of health and education projects including small business workshops, primary care health facilities, community hubs and primary schools.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall, said: "We are excited by this opportunity to work alongside our public sector partners to deliver vital projects which will generate improved public services for communities in the West of Scotland."
